The physicians are pleased to announce that Christy Halpin Wright, OTR/L, CHT has joined the OSI rehabilitation team as an Occupational Therapist in March of 2011. A graduate of Syracuse University, Christy worked as a Senior Hand Therapist at Tufts Medical Center in Boston through her 17 year career. There, she worked extensively with patients who sustained injuries to tendons, nerves, elbows, and fractures, repetitive strain injuries, arthritis and digital amputations.
Her distinguished career includes becoming a Certified Hand Therapist, presenting at numerous conferences and workshops, and being a contributing writer in textbooks. Having attended over 40 continuing education seminars, she has the training and experience to compliment the care of our medical staff. “Having an Occupational Therapist with Christy’s level of experience is a big step forward in OSI’s ability to provide comprehensive care to our hand patients”, states Erika McPhee, MD
When not working, Christy enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
